Hey Bean!  I wish you were going to be here this week-end at our 40th class re-union.  I'm gonna miss you.  You are thought of often and therefore remebered in our thoughts and memories that were shared and can not be forgotten. You  are in several of my child hood and younger year memories that are engrained in my brain forever.  You were the first person I ever knew that had a maid!  One saturday your maid helped you and I bake a cake so we could get the cooking patch in GS's. You were there when Dorcy and I nearly started (accidentally) a forest fire at Buffalo National Park!  You were there on those super fun bus trips to Florida with the GS's. You were there when I had my first cigarette, first drink, probably my first hang-over; first doobey ever rolled in hot pink papers! (LOL).  I remember your job at Casa Bonita!  Remeber Deidra teaching us that dance routine. You getting to purchase the Mary Kay cosmetic package and my dad telling me to "wash my face before I sat down to dinner" - Ha! Your first Fondeau party!  Roller-skating on Friday and Saturday nights at Troy's Roller Rink!  Standing outside liquor stores asking someone to go in and buy us booze! (I would kill my children if they ever did something like that!)  laughing until we peed our pants! We were bad!  We use to hitch rides, drink under age, and party hardy.  Remember the "Rock Crusher"? We had each others backs and we could depend on each other to be there. Those were the good old days!  God must have been watching over us, as He kept us safe and out of trouble.

I saw you a few years ago when you were in town for your mother's funeral.  You looked good!  I'm glad I have that visit as a last memory.  It brought us to the present.  I was sad to hear that you were gone.  Life is so short and we simply take it for granted until we lose someone; then we think about how fragile life really is.  I know you are up there watching over me and several others from your class of '76', and remembering all the good times we shared in your life.

Love you - Sally
