Glenn was one of the kindest fellows around and always made a gathering better when he was there. While I did not "hang out" with Glenn a bunch outside the walls of CHS, it was obvious what a great heart he always had. Rest in Peace, friend.

Our 40th Reunion is in October, ladies and gentlemen. Glenn would be there if he could to kindle and rekindle...he wuill be there in spirit. The Class of '76 has lost too many of our comrades and I think it important to gather, remember them and celebrate them as well as celebrate each other.

Glenn made me laugh and smile. He was so caring and would be there anytime you needed. Rest in peace! You will always be in our hearts!

Our first game our senior year was against W.D.Mills High . They had a defensive lineman who tipped the scale at plus 300 lbs. The biggest lineman in what was then 4A. It was Glenn Halsteads' job to block this human locamotive. I was glad it was his job, and not mine. I will never forget Glenn running off the football field screaming , "HE AIN'T SH-T!!!" We won that game 26-0,if I remember correctly. That offensive line was a brick wall that night. Glenn must have had rebar in his breakfast cereal that day.
