Tony was a great guy with a great sense of humour! He took Shannon Knox and I both to the Homecoming dance our senior year. He bought us both corsages and I think dinner too! Great memory Tony,,,thanks!
My last memory of Tony was when he came to my family's house in Little Rock in 1978 or 1979, I believe? I recall that John Carroll and Steve Chaffin were also there? French Hill and I were both Phi Kappa Psi's at Vanderbilt, and collectively we were embarked on a mission to start a chapter at the University of Arkansas. I know a colony was created, but lost track of whether or not a formal chapter was ever established. We were discussing the process and information about the fraternity, and Tony almost successfully tricked me into revealing formal membership titles versus acronyms...note that I said almost. I remember Tony as a very enthusiastic guy...gave it 100%. I know we lost him pretty early, and definitely too soon.
