Gregory Thomas McPhail, 68, of Conway, Ark., went to be with the Lord on July 23, 2026. He was born on May 26, 1958, in Bridgeport, Conn., to Thomas and Dorothy McPhail. He was preceded in death by his wife Katrina McPhail, his father Thomas McPhail, his mother Dorothy McPhail, and his nephew Chris Gallagher. Gregory was a police officer and a firefighter for the city of Maumelle. He enjoyed the outdoors. He liked camping and fishing. He was a Boy Scout troop leader. He loved animals and had many pets through the years. Gregory is survived by his three sons, Shawn McPhail and his wife Areli McPhail, Zachary McPhail, James McPhail and his wife Nikki McPhail; two grandchildren, William McPhail and Ophelia McPhail. Sister, Marlene McPhail, one niece Jess Schriver, and three nephews Josh Gallagher, Jacob Gallagher, and Patrick Gallagher. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel in Conway. Visitation will be at 1 p.m., one hour prior to service. Entombment will follow at Crestlawn Mausoleum.
