I attended Bryan Pennebakers' funeral service at St. Patrick Cathedral in downtown Ft. Worth. Bryan Marshall was also in attendance .It was Bryan Marshall who had notified me of our classmates passing.

St. Patricks Cathedral is a beautifull church, reminiscent of the cathedral in downtown Little Rock ,only slightly smaller. St. Patrick was filled with those who had come to celebrate the the life of our brother Bryan Pennebaker. It was said that Bryan was an inspirational coach and intense competitor . A letter was read which Bryan had written to one of the youth under his charge as coach. The letter was inspiring, by way of humor ,scriptural reference, and sincere Christian affection of a coach for his youthful charge. Bryan seemed to be the kind of guy we would hope that all our children could have to guide them.

It is my understanding that Bryan Pennebaker left to mourn a lovely wife, and three children . I pray that they find the Peace of Christ in the midst of the loss of our teammate ,classmate, and brother.

If the number of people in attendance, and the life he lived to inspire them is any indication ,then I believe Bryan Pennebaker has found that which we hope for, eternal peace in our lord Jesus The Christ.

Likewise, thanks Lonnie for you and Bryan representing our Class. Bryan was such a fun loving guy. I can still recall his chuckle he often had after a humorous comment or joke..He was a great guy and friend. I'm so thrilled he went on to become an equally great father and husband. Cherish those around you...love you guys..
