Mike was a sweet, sweet friend! I'm so glad I was able to sit and chat with him for a little (way too little) while at our last reunion. All I could do was smile and grab his handsome face in my hands...he just laughed at me. Loved that sweet smilling face. He was my brother from another mother and I always felt he was looking out for me. I miss him, especially knowing I won't see him anymore on this earth. Rest now, sweet Mike.
Mike really was a nice, kind, guy. He made it easy for people to like him. I hadn't seen Mike in years and one day I had to take one of my adult children to an appointment; I noticed he had on some really nice shoes. I said "where did you get those shoes?", and he said "a friend" lent them to him to wear for this special appointment. I said that was nice. A few days later I met the friend that loaned my son those shoes and it was none other than our Mike Reynolds. My son couldn't believe we knew each other. Mike and I hugged, asked each other how we were doing.....and both commented on what a small world we live in. That is the last memory of Mike I have and it is a really nice one. My son said "he was a really cool guy" and knew he cared alot about his family.
You are at peace now Mike. Those that loved you will always love you. You will be remebered at our 40th re-union by all of us that knew you.
